Aztex Defeat Cleveland City Stars, 1-0
Friday night at Middlefield Cheese Stadium saw a pretty even game between the Aztex and the Cleveland City Stars. I was terrified through the last 15 minutes that Cleveland was going to steal a draw again, like they did last weekend. But Austin held on, and got their first win on the road.

In the 30th minute, Jeff Harwell sent in a corner kick from the right side. A Cleveland defender tried to clear the ball, but it went straight to Silva.
He collected the ball and launched a shot that skipped several times across the turf.

Six days after giving up a stoppage-time goal and settling for one point in a 2-2 draw against the Cleveland City Stars (2-10-4, 10 points), the Austin Aztex (3-6-6, 15 points) scored early, and managed to fend off a furious second-half attack from Cleveland to win 1-0 and earn the team its first road win of the season.
